
Vencor is a South African meat supplier that manages the entire production process, from feedlot to abattoir. We partnered with the business to create a bold new brand identity that reflects the quality of its products, strengthens its market presence and supports its continued growth across retail and export markets.
The meat supply industry presents a unique branding challenge, with many competitors relying on familiar visual conventions. The new identity needed to feel premium while maintaining industry credibility and creating clear differentiation. It also had to perform consistently across corporate communications, fleet branding, packaging and digital platforms.
The refreshed identity tells the story of Vencor's unique business model, bringing together its feedlot and abattoir in one seamless brand narrative. A comprehensive identity system was developed, including a refined logo, illustration style, tone of voice, fleet branding and corporate communications. Together, these elements create a cohesive brand experience across both retail and corporate touchpoints, strengthening shelf presence, giving Vencor a more memorable brand voice, and communicating the quality and reliability that define its offering.






With a growing digital presence becoming increasingly important, the identity was designed to work just as effectively online as it does on packaging and in print. A distinctive system of illustrations, photography and brand graphics was developed to give Vencor a confident, recognisable personality across every touchpoint.
Combined with a tongue in cheek tone of voice, the result is a modern food brand identity that supports both retail supplier branding and corporate communications while reinforcing Vencor's position as a trusted agribusiness.

Designed as a bold, stand out presence within the meat supply industry, the website brings the new identity to life through colour, character and quality. It extends the brand beyond packaging and print, strengthening Vencor's digital presence and giving customers a clearer understanding of its premium offering. The website strengthened Vencor’s digital presence and supported the company’s expansion into international export markets.



Designed as part of Vencor's complete food brand identity, the packaging combines bold illustrations and clever copy to create a distinctive shelf presence. The illustration-based packaging design brings personality to the range while clearly communicating quality, making it a memorable retail experience that supports both consumer appeal and Vencor's position as a trusted B2B food supplier.
